The Next Generation of Improved Cook Stoves
BioLite has undertaken a program, in partnership with the Aprovecho Research Center, to develop the world’s first forced air rocket stove. The addition of BioLite’s thermoelectric fan system to the well established rocket stove design has enabled a 10 fold reduction in smoke emissions. Field tests begin in Spring 2010. The product will be commercially available in early 2011.
